Our Story

Huddle was born from a simple yet powerful belief: every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed—no matter their background. As a mother, I saw too many bright young minds struggling, not because they lacked potential, but because they lacked access to the right resources, support, and opportunities.

Education isn’t one-size-fits-all. Many students, especially those from underserved communities and newly arrived families, face challenges that go beyond the classroom. That’s why we created Huddle—a space where youth can build literacy skills, explore STEM, and develop the confidence to shape their own future.

At Huddle, we don’t just provide tutoring or after-school programs—we create a movement of Barrier Breakers—young leaders who will challenge limitations, embrace innovation, and transform their communities. Through mentorship, hands-on learning, and career readiness, we are helping students turn possibilities into realities.

Together, we’re not just changing lives—we’re shaping the future. Join us in the Huddle.

What is Rote Learning?

Rote learning is a teaching technique that relies on repetition to reinforce knowledge. In Huddle’s program, students repeatedly engage with essential concepts, formulas, vocabulary, and problem-solving techniques until they become second nature. This approach is particularly effective for STEM subjects, literacy, and foundational learning.

  • Mnemonic devices: Using acronyms, rhymes, and associations to retain information.
  • Repetitive practice: Engaging in drills, flashcards, and verbal repetition.
  • Chunking information: Breaking content into smaller, manageable sections to improve recall.
  • Spaced repetition: Reviewing learned material at increasing intervals to strengthen memory retention.

How We Use These Methods?

  1. STEM Education: Students memorize key math formulas, scientific concepts, and coding sequences through engaging repetition and application exercises.
  2. Literacy & Reading: Phonics, sight words, and reading fluency drills help young learners develop strong reading comprehension skills.
  3. Test Preparation: Students use memorization techniques to improve performance in standardized tests such as End-of-Grade (EOG) assessments.
  4. Leadership & Career Readiness: Memorization strategies are applied to practical skills, such as public speaking, interview preparation, and financial literacy.

By integrating rote learning and memorization training, Huddle reinforces critical learning skills, builds confidence, and ensures students retain knowledge essential for their academic and career success.
